Job Position – Database Administrator
Company Name – Reach Group
Location: UAE
Salary – AED 13,000
Candidates needs to be in UAE and Arab Nationals are preferred
Key Responsibilities:
-Install, configure, and maintain database systems (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL)
-Manage database performance, tuning, and query optimization
-Implement high availability solutions (Failover Clustering, Always On)
-Ensure database security, access control, and data protection
-Handle backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning
-Monitor systems and configure alerts for performance and downtime
-Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues
-Collaborate with development and IT teams for database design and support
Requirements:
-Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
-Proven experience as a DBA in enterprise environments
-Strong SQL and database optimization skills
-Experience with backup, recovery, and HA/DR solutions
-Knowledge of database security and best practices
-ITIL certification preferred; Microsoft/Oracle certifications are a plus
Preferred:
-Experience with database monitoring & automation tools
