Essential requirements:

3-5 years of related experience of which a minimum of 1 year should be in a similar position/responsibility, preferably in a similar Industry or as per the Director of the Department.

Relevant Athletics coaching accreditation ideally via World Athletics.

Significant relevant experience specifically in Sprints and Hurdles: 100m, 200m, 400m, 100mH, 110mH, 400mH.

Significant relevant experience work with developing athletes (11-19 years old).

High level knowledge of Track and Field Athletics and Long-Term Athlete Development.

High level knowledge of growth and maturation as well as its impact on training and performance.

High level knowledge of physical preparation and sports science disciplines related to improving performance with developing athletes.

Good interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with other coaches and support staff.

Good at administration and use of IT systems, Microsoft Office and Power BI.

University related qualifications in coaching/exercise/sports science.

Desirable requirements:

Physical Education Teaching Qualification (e.g. PGCE, QTS or equivalent).

Experience and knowledge of other power speed events (Jumps, Throws etc.)

Sport school/academy experience working directly with groups of adolescent youths in both primary and secondary education.

Qualified S&C coach through UKSCA, ASCA, NSCA or another similar organization.

Sports Rehabilitation / Sports Massage Therapy qualification.

Arabic speaking.
