This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing and analyzing financial reports, and providing financial advice to management. The accountant will also be responsible for managing the company’s financial transactions, including but not limited to the preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and year-end closing procedures.

Qualifications

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience in bookkeeping, basic accounting principles, and financial reporting
Expertise in MS Office Suite, especially Excel, and financial software programs
Excellent communication skills and fluency in English (both oral and written)
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
Experience in SMEs is highly preferred
Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and experience with VAT returns is a plus
