Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation and maintenance of HV and LV electrical distribution systems across managed facilities
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance programmes to ensure system reliability and minimise downtime
• Conduct corrective maintenance, fault diagnosis, and rapid rectification of electrical failures
• Ensure full compliance with UAE electrical safety regulations, ADDC/DEWA standards, and industry best practices
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to coordinate planned maintenance and emergency works
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspection logs, and technical documentation
• Assess electrical systems for potential risks, implementing corrective actions proactively
• Provide technical guidance and supervision to electrical technicians and maintenance teams

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognised institution
• 5 to 6 years of direct, hands-on experience in HV and LV electrical systems in the Gulf region
• Demonstrated expertise in HV switchgear, transformers, MV/LV panels, and distribution boards
• Strong working knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance methodologies
• Proficiency in fault diagnosis and electrical system troubleshooting
• In-depth familiarity with UAE/GCC safety regulations and electrical compliance standards
• Ability to manage maintenance priorities across multiple facilities simultaneously
• Excellent technical communication skills and report writing ability in English
