Job Description

Dubai’s construction and infrastructure sector is booming, and at the heart of every smart building is a reliable Extra Low Voltage (ELV) system. Emac Electromechanical LLC, a reputable MEP contracting company based in Dubai, is actively seeking a skilled ELV Engineer with solid design and project management experience. If you have a passion for delivering complex ELV installations across commercial high-rises, mixed-use developments, and residential towers, this is your opportunity to work on landmark projects in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review tender drawings, specifications, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for ELV systems
  • Prepare ELV shop drawings, schematics, riser diagrams, and material submittals
  • Design and coordinate Fire Alarm, CCTV, Access Control, Structured Cabling, PA/VA, SMATV, IPTV, and Intercom Systems
  • Perform design calculations and ensure compliance with Civil Defense and local authority standards
  • Manage on-site ELV installations as per approved drawings and method statements
  • Conduct system testing, inspection, and commissioning, and prepare as-built drawings
  • Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, civil teams, suppliers, and subcontractors
  • Attend project meetings and provide timely technical support to site teams
  • Prepare O&M manuals and ensure smooth project handover to clients

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering
  • 3–8 years of UAE ELV experience within an MEP contracting environment
  • Strong knowledge of NFPA standards for fire alarm systems and TIA/EIA structured cabling
  • Hands-on proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit experience is an added advantage
  • Familiarity with Dubai Civil Defense approval processes and local authority requirements
  • Ability to manage site teams, coordinate multi-discipline contractors, and meet strict deadlines
  • GCC experience preferred; large-scale commercial or high-rise project experience is a plus
