MAATS Auditors and Consultants Group is seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Accountant / Assistant Manager to strengthen its expanding professional services team in Dubai. This role is ideal for finance professionals with strong accounting expertise, client-facing experience, and a solid understanding of UAE tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations for a portfolio of client organizations.
• Prepare and finalize financial statements while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor adherence to IFRS standards and applicable financial regulations.
• Conduct client discussions, provide advisory support, and maintain professional relationships.
• Prepare, review, and submit VAT returns in accordance with FTA requirements.
• Manage VAT registrations, amendments, refunds, and deregistration processes.
• Support businesses with corporate tax compliance, reporting obligations, and accounting matters.
• Assist in identifying financial risks and recommending practical solutions.

Candidate Profile

• CA, CA Inter, CPA, CMA, or ACCA qualification (fully or partially completed).
• Strong understanding of financial reporting frameworks and IFRS requirements.
• Working knowledge of UAE VAT legislation and Corporate Tax regulations.
• Practical experience using accounting software including Tally, Zoho Books, and QuickBooks.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong analytical mindset with effective client-handling abilities.
• Minimum 3–5 years of accounting or audit experience.
• At least 1–2 years of experience within a UAE-based audit or accounting firm.
