Employment Type: 12 months extendable contract

Start date: Immediate joiners or 4 weeks maximum

Looking for a Data Solution Architect to lead the design and implementation of an on-prem Data Lakehouse using Cloudera CDP 7.3.1. This role will drive architecture, governance, and end-to-end data platform delivery across batch and streaming environments.

Key Responsibilities
– Design end-to-end Lakehouse architecture (HLD/LLD) on CDP 7.3.1
– Implement Medallion architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold) across domains
– Build Lambda architecture integrating batch (Spark/Hive/Informatica) & streaming (Kafka/Hudi/Kudu/HBase)
– Define data governance frameworks using Ranger, Atlas, Knox, and SDX
– Architect and implement a metadata-driven Rules Engine
– Ensure security, compliance, lineage, and data quality standards
– Drive DevOps, observability, SLA frameworks, and DR strategy

Key Requirements
– Must be based in KSA now with transferable iqama
– 8-10+ years in Data Engineering/Architecture
– 3-5+ years as Solution Architect
– Strong experience with Cloudera CDP/CDH (production environments)
– Hands-on expertise in Iceberg, Hudi, Kudu, Hive, Impala, HBase/Phoenix
– Experience with batch + streaming architectures (Lambda)
– Knowledge of Informatica DEI, Spark, Kafka
– Strong background in data governance, security (Kerberos, Ranger, Atlas)
– Excellent SQL and performance tuning skills
